I keep the cover from the month I was born hanging in my office (well, it's a closet, but I've made it into my office). I read it whenever I'm feeling blocked <3

I loved this post! I love how real you are willing to be in your writing. I can relate to “the other you.” My “other me” — one of them anyway — moved to NYC right after college, got a job working for an artist agency, worked her way up, eventually started her own agency, represented some wonderful artists, and helped them get recognition — and lots of money — for their work.

Oh I LOVED the Lauren Groff profile on Florence Welch - I read it under the hair dryer at the salon this week. And thank you for this mental exercise; I too am now contemplating my other selves. I look forward to having your name on the spine in a stack of my books, also.
